Alyson Greenfield - performs for FIGMENT FESTIVAL on Governors Island June 10, 2012

Bringing together beatboxers, drums, electronic autoharps, glockenspiels, synthesizers, loopers, guitars, and string trios, the Alyson Greenfield runs the gamut of musical genres including folk, electronica, and hip-hop. She'll take you to dream lands with her synthesizers, spin wild stories with her lyrics, and might just make you want to jump around with her raps!

FIGMENT is an explosion of creative energy. It’s a free, annual celebration of participatory art and culture where everything is possible. For one weekend each summer, it transforms Governors Island into a large-scale collaborative artwork – and then it’s gone.
