Caimh McDonnell

So it seems there's more than one smooth, enjoyable Irish export with a distinctive white head.  While Caimh McDonnell isn't quite as intoxicating as Guinness, his stand-up does induce a similarly satisfying feeling of benign well-being.  Armed with no gimmicks save for the Irish brogue, McDonnell's warm, inclusive delivery naturally charms the audience.  Oh, and since you were wondering, it's pronounced 'Queeve'.

Dom Carroll

As a trainee funeral director Dom soon realised that he was better in front of a live audience.  Working with the recently deceased gives a man plenty of time for reflection and this goes some way to explaining Dom's relaxed, almost morose, style of comedy.  You will be ashamed of yourself for laughing, but laugh you will.

Ruth Cockburn

Ruth does something the best comedians do; finds material that the audience recognise from their own lives, and simultaneously makes them realise how foolish they are, whilst being comforted that they aren't the only ones who do it.

Compere.... Dave Twentyman

Currently riding high on the UK Comedy Scene, Dave is one of the most affable and naturally gifted comedians you'll see this year. Dave's strengths are his improvisation and interaction delivered with genuine warmth and charm, all the ingredients needed for a natural compere. He is one of the best things to come out of St. Helens from a long list that already includes Rugby League, Johnny Vegas, glass, The Transport Museum and Margaret off the Weakest Link.
