MR. SOLO

MR. SOLO
One of the most dynamic frontmen of the 90s has become one of the most vibrant solo performers of this strange new little century. NME called it "the rebirth of a gothic Elvis."
Mr. Solo's live shows – which combine 'state-of-the-art' VJ mixing/magic lantern projections (including sing-along lyrics) with live dance routines – are in turn heart-wrenching and daft, as Mr. Solo, half performer, half human installation contraption struts his impressive stuff.

The Humanity
Pure sounds of electronic indie breach every song for this South London trio. These guys are on the edge, noisy, and have essentially what is streamlined perfection.
The acidic driving bass lines captivate a certain drive as well as chewed out vocals which frankly, make them one of the best new bands out at the moment.

Glassglue
'Eddie Argos aside, there have been very few takers for the epithet 'The New Vivian Stanshall', but in vocalist Marcel Stoetzler, London's Glassglue may have unearthed him. Throughout this ‘unplugged set’, he holds forth with a half-theatrical, half-knowing line in delivery and patter, whilst Matthew Karas’ organ and guitar stagger around the margins of time signatures.

Dead Loss Dick
Part-time punk musician, sometime soundtrack writer and one time brass band member Dead Loss Dick is a writer/performer whose interests and work are varied and disorganised. Live, his songs demonstrate a handle on melody and dynamics that set him apart from most people who own an acoustic guitar. Beautifully dark and twisted.
