Johnny controls the drugs in his upper-class neighborhood. When Jake double-crosses Johnny, Johnny and his gang impulsively kidnap Jake's little brother, Zack, and head off to Palm Springs. With no parents in sight, they grow used to having the kid around, and Zack enjoys an illicit summer of drinking, drugs, and girls. As the days tick by however, the options of how to get themselves out of their situation disappear, one by one. Based on a true story.
