Join docents Steve Warner and Dave Kocsis on a steep and hilly hike from Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve through Teague Hill Preserve. Enjoy valley views while following trails across the ridge tops on this 12-mile, 2,000-foot elevation gain hike traveling through beautifully forested trail systems that traverse through oak and redwood woodlands and canyons. This is a strenuous hike so bring your best traction shoes, hiking poles, and plenty of water. Enjoy lunch at a trailside location and learn about the history of Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve. For this activity at Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve, meet at the Redwood Trail entrance, a small turnout on the west side of Skyline Boulevard, 13.2 miles north of Page Mill Road or 6.5 miles south of Highway 92.
