Thrilling vocalist/pianist Allison Crowe returns to this lovely restaurant live music lounge center of Prague - with special guest singer-songwriter Billie Woods.

"Allison Crowe has a voice to fall in love with. She is from Vancouver Island in Canada, descended from Scottish, Irish and Manx stock. She's exactly the sort of artist who can make serious headway on her own label and that's just what she's doing," says London's 'Record of the Day '.

The internationally acclaimed artist is praised by audiences not only as a singularly exciting songwriter and live performer, but, also, as a song interpreter. Her freshly definitive takes on such 21st century standards as Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and Joni Mitchell's "River" are applauded as "truly transcendent". Since 2003 Crowe has released six critically and commercially successful CD albums and has had two one-hour television specials broadcast across her homeland of Canada. "Whether I'm Wrong", an original song of social conscience has been
featured by the UNESCO-endorsed New Songs for Peace initiative. Her songs and music videos online enjoy an audience numbering in the millions.

Allison Crowe's live shows stir together original songs with much-loved interpretations from the popular songbook in an organic blend of rock, jazz, folk, Broadway, gospel and soul. It's a joyous sound that one music critic describes as 'Elton John meets Edith Piaf'.

On Tuesday, October 7 Allison Crowe performs a fun and soulful set, including rock, pop and jazz covers, at Luna di Notte, the lovely restaurant and live music lounge center of Prague. "Her version of 'I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)' would give Aretha Franklin goose-bumps," says Canada's Boulevard magazine. "Treat yourself to one of the mightiest talents on the singer-songwriter scene today," says Bob Muller, JoniMitchell.com. Ross Hocker of the USA's NPR Radio calls it, "The most honest, heartfelt, and directly intimate concert in my entire life."

Support artist is globe-trotting musician and photographer, Billie Woods. Woods opens the night with a songs inspired by life in Canada's Pacific northwestern coastal forest, and infused with the warmth and vitality of the sambas, bossa novas and other cultural rhythms of Brazil. Radiating her joyous nature, in English and Portuguese, Billie Woods' vocals and classical guitar make for all-seasons good times.
