The internationally acclaimed vocalist/pianist, born on Vancouver Island, is home these days in Corner Brook. She’s delighted to present her own show on the A&C mainstage where she’s joined the “Beary Merry Christmas Variety Show” and, most recently, TNL’s Sexy and Dangerous troupe. Allison Crowe’s repertoire stirs together original songs with much-loved interpretations from the popular songbook in an organic blend of rock, jazz, folk, Broadway, gospel and soul.

Knowing at any moment everything could change, I don't take one second for granted." On her own label she’s released five critically and commercially successful CD albums. Contributing as well to this Spring celebration is Andrew James O'Brien, a young troubador from Mount Pearl. Citing as influences such classic tunesmiths as Ron Sexmith, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and Paul Simon, thoughtful lyrics and sincere vocals define his musical sound. The songs of Andrew James O’Brien are rooted in personal experience and invite you in to share their stories of “love, loss, hurt, life and how crazy it can get. That kind of thing.”
