The University of Richmond Law Review will host a discussion about election law issues for the 2012 Allen Chair Symposium, Oct. 5, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The program will be held at Ukrop Auditorium at the Robins School of Business and the law school’s Merhige Moot Courtroom.
The event is free but registration is required at law.richmond.edu/events. A continental breakfast, lunch and networking reception are included.
Eleven election law experts will participate in “Beyond the Red, Purple and Blue: Election Law Issues in 2012,” discussing such topics as redistricting, the Voter Rights Act, voter ID issues, military/absentee ballots, campaign finance, disputed elections and online petitions.
