Come join us for the Washington, D.C. launch of the 2008 All Roads Film Festival at National Geographic headquarters on Thursday, October 2! This is a hallmark event, as All Roads celebrates its fifth anniversary. This year, we will be showcasing 28 films from 20 cultures in 15 countries and we begin opening night with a high-energy, musical performance by Somali singer K’naan. He’ll be performing songs from his upcoming album, Troubadour. This will be an electrifying start to four days full of international film screenings and the exhibition of photographic works of four emerging photographers from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Argentina, and Azerbaijan.
