Arthur Miller's powerful play is a study of ethics and morals set in post- World War II. Joe Kellor's entire life was spent in the single-minded pursuit of wealth for the sake of his family. Then he knowingly sold defective airplane parts, which led to the deaths of 21 airmen. Joe framed his business partner for the crime, but when his son wants to marry the partner's daughter, his lie of a life is unraveled.
