My friend and fellow consultant Amy Morse is in need. Amy's infant son Jeremy has been in the NICU at Johns Hopkins for just over 2 months. After fighting back after an initial cardiac arrest, infections, and other struggles, Jeremy suffered a stroke yesterday and, despite the best efforts of the medical team, is unlikely to recover. He is just 6 months old. Amy and her husband Scott have 3 older children (ages 7, 5, and 2). Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. To read Jeremy's story, you can go to http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jeremymorse
Along with 5 other consultants on my team, we have planned a benefit crop to honor Jeremy and raise funds for the family. As you can imagine, their medical bills are overwhelming. We are hoping to fill every table! The crop fee of $40 includes lunch and cropping from 10am-5pm. All proceeds will benefit the Morse family. Please take this opportunity to catch up on your own albums while helping this dear family.
We will also have a silent auction in the afternoon from 3-5 pm with baskets and bundles from many different home sales vendors. (So if you can't make the crop, please stop by for the auction!) Need something framed? Bring your artwork for framing between 3-5pm. Entry fee for auction/framing is $5 at the door (no charge if you are a registered cropper). To print your registration and view more details about the crop, please go to: http://web.mac.com/susistengel/Site_2/Welcome.html
If you are unable to attend, but would like to make a donation, please write your check to: Amy & Scott Morse and in the subject line write: to honor Jeremy. All donations and proceeds will be given to the family on July 13.
