Alice's Adventures in Wonderland November 23, 2010

Lewis Carroll’s classic English fairy tale, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, adapted and directed by Stephanie Ansin, comes to life with a tropical, South Florida twist on The PlayGround Theatre stage, November 3rd through December 19th. In The PlayGround Theatre’s version, co-adapted and designed by Fernando Calzadilla, time, space, and cultures collide as the precocious heroine tackles the challenges of her ever-changing world, with the familiar tale unfolding in a surprise setting. Set, costumes, and lighting design are by Calzadilla, with original music and sound design by Luciano Stazzone. Weekday performances (Tuesday-Friday) are usually at 10 a.m., with weekend performances at 2 p.m. There will be a special evening performance on Saturday, November 13th at 7 p.m. Please see our website, www.theplaygroundtheatre.com for full show listings.
