Tuesday 26th May
Secret Forest Gardens 5-7yrs
10:30am-12noon £4 per child
Create your own miniature forest or little secret garden. You can even make a magic free spirit to live in the garden. We will use natural materials collected from a walk in the woods. Let your imaginations go wild. Materials provided. All children should be accompanied.
Tuesday 26th May and Wednesday 27th May
Den Building 8+yrs
1-3pm £5 per child
You know where, you know when, come and build a woodland den!
Wednesday 27th May
Pond Dipping 6+yrs £1 per child
Half hour sessions Starting at 1pm, 1:45pm and 2.30pm
The pond is teeming with life and we've got the tools to help you find it. Children under 8yrs must be accompanied for their own safety. Meet by the Cafe.
Thursday 28th May
Wicked Willow 5-12yrs
Between 10am-12noon £3 per plate
Learn how to weave your very own stick platter, from willow rods. Used as a bread plate, a wall hanging or given as a gift these natural crafts never fail to impress. Sessions start every half hour from 10am, 10:30am, 11am and 11:30am. Children under 8yrs should be accompanied and will need your help.
Den Building 8+yrs
1pm-3pm £5 per child
For some constructive play come and join a team of builders. Last one of the half term!
Friday 29th May
Treemendous Family Trail
All ages £5 per group
Between 10am and 12 noon
Tree ID charts, maps, intriguing facts, games and quizzes - we've got everything to entertain your family as you follow our trail through the trees. Pick up a pack from us in the classroom anytime from 10am to 10.30am. Return it to us before the prize giving at 12 noon. There'll be something for everyone. There must be a minimum of one adult per team.
