Scottish singer/songwriter Alexi Murdoch's self-released EP 'Four Songs' elevated him to the top of the folk-pop genre when one of the songs, 'Orange Sky' was featured in the film 'Garden State.' 'Orange Sky' has also been used in a number of television and movie productions, including 'The OC,' 'House,' 'Prison Break,' 'Ugly Betty,' 'Dirty Sexy Money,' 'Ladder 49 and 'The Russell Girl.' His haunting vocals are reminiscent of singers like Nick Drake, Elliot Smith or Damien Rice. His 2006 full-length, 'Time Without Consequence,' earned him praise from fans and from magazines such as Alternative Press and Rolling Stone.
