Alexander Markov, Violinist, Family Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo February 16, 2008

Internationally celebrated violinist Alexander Markov has established a reputation second-to-none in 19th century virtuoso repertoire. A Gold Medal Winner at the Paganini International Violin Competition, Mr. Markov has appeared with Orchestre de Paris, the BBC Symphony, and Seattle Symphony to name a few.

This concert features five musicians from the California Symphony Music-In-The-Schools introducing music and variety of instruments in the orchestra. It will be followed by the Instrument Petting Zoo, where children of all ages can try various instruments.
