"Alexander Hamilton: The Man Who Made Modern America" December 18, 2008

Attend the opening of this exhibit, which celebrates this visionary whose ideals are still pertinent to this country. Meet George Washington, portrayed by actor Terry Lynch, who will discuss the founding of this nation from a first president's perspective. The exhibit includes life-size statues of Hamilton and Aaron Burr. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is Required.

“Alexander Hamilton: The Man Who Made Modern America” is a national traveling exhibition organized by the New-York Historical Society, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and the American Library Association. The traveling exhibition has been made possible in part through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, dedicated to expanding American understanding of human experience and cultural heritage.
