Cuban-Canadian singer-songwriter Alex Cuba's trademark sugarcane-sweet melodies primarily reflect his Latin and African influences, with a mix of funk, jazz, pop, and soul. Cuba recently won a Juno Award (Canada's equivalent to the Grammy) for World Music Album of the Year.
