Alex Cornish is a singer-songwriter from Dunbar, Scotland, a seaside town just outside Edinburgh. He has produced three critically acclaimed albums to date; 'Until the Traffic Stops' in 2009, 'Call Back' in 2010 and 'No Shore' in 2011, all of which were made at home with his band. What is remarkable is how well these home recordings have been received - songs on the BBC Radio 2 playlist, repeat sessions for BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, songs have been used in Hollywood movies, in TV shows, "a voice to stand comparison to Thom Yorke" said The Scotsman on Sunday and "a beautiful album that has Mercury Music Prize nomination written all over it" said The Sunday Times. Not to be missed.
