Albuquerque Century & Downtown Criterium June 2, 2007

The Heart Hospital of New Mexico proudly presents the Albuquerque Century & Downtown Criterium. A one day cycling event that uniquely combines bicycling for both touring cyclists and racers in a largely urban setting. Come join us downtown, at the starting line for plenty of New Mexico sunshine, blue skies, local hospitality, and a lot of fun for all!

The Rides
The 100 mile route has everything a strong touring rider wants in a day with 2 big climbs, miles of rollers, and of course views of the beautiful Sandia Mountains and city. A total of 5 feed zones with food, water and great staff are along the way. There are also 25-50-65 mile routes available to satisfy all levels of cycling abilities.

The Races
This criterium course is the only one of its kind in the State of New Mexico. An absolutely flat, fast course on closed city streets. It circles Civic Plaza with left and right turns thrown in just for fun. This ACA sanctioned cycling event is the New Mexico State Criterium Championships for 2007.
