'La Pentenera: The Sephardic Connection.' This performance tells the story of a Jewish family living in Cordoba, Spain in 1492, and their subsequent exodus to a Sephardic settlement in Turkey. Compelling and visually exciting, the show emphasizes the peaceful coexistence of Jews, Christians and Muslims prior to 1492, and is still profoundly relevant today. Featuring the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre with guest artists Daughters of Sophia Tribal Dance Troupe, Sephardic dancer Ramzi El Edlibi, Cantorial singer Laurie Fechter and Sephardic musicians The Noga Group
