Albert Rivera Quartet December 10, 2010

Based in New York City! tenor saxophonist Albert Rivera is joined by some of the newest faces in jazz. He is committed to bringing new sounds to the people's ears! keeping in mind where the music came from. Heavily based on John Coltrane's modal aspect, Albert writes most of the Quartet's music! using rhythm and grooves as his base. Albert is a recipient of the 2009 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award. His teaching experience began and continues at Litchfield Jazz Camp where he is now on the faculty coaching both young and old players.
