The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society announces its 2010-2011 season featuring five concerts of world-renowned chamber groups and solo musicians. For over thirty years the Mill Valley Chamber Music Society has presented chamber music concerts with affordable tickets prices. All five concerts, plus the annual Marin Music Chest Young Artists Concert, are included in the season subscription cost of $90 general and $45 for patrons 18 and under and full-time college and university students with ID cards. Program: Fuchs, Trio, op. 94; Mozart, Divertimento, K 563
The three Albers sisters are young and vibrant, united in music. The eldest, Laura, plays the violin. Rebecca is the violist and the youngest, Julie, is the cellist. They have performed on Live from Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center Honors, Japan's NHK, Washington D.C.'s Voice of America and Bavarian Radio. Their upcoming season includes performances throughout the U.S. including New York City, Boston, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, New Mexico and Texas.
