Designed for runners of ALL levels, this 8-week program gives you all the tools you need to arrive at the starting line with confidence - whether your goal is to finish the race or break a personal record.
AlaVie’s 5K/10K Training Program includes:
# A kick-off meeting where you’ll meet your coach and fellow teammates and receive all of your training materials. Your coach will also give you an overview of the training program, shoe experts will fit you for the proper shoes, and physical therapists will provide tips on injury prevention.
# 8 weekly training sessions led by AlaVie coaches
# A detailed schedule of running, speed, and cross-training drills
# A fitness and nutrition training log to help you track your progress and stay focused on your goals
# Nutrition guidance designed to support your training and optimize your energy level
# Unlimited phone and email support from our coaching staff of veteran 5k, 10k, and marathon runners

AlaVie's 5K/10K training summer session goes from June 4 - July 23 and is designed to prepare participants for following races: Los Gatos Half Marathon/10K Jungle Run (July 13th), Marina Green 5K (July 20th), Wharf to Wharf (July 27th), Windmill Run 10K (July 27th).
