Canadian-born singer Alanis Morissette found success after her song 'You Oughta Know' was played by KROQ-FM, an influential Los Angeles modern rock radio station, in 1995. 'Hand in My Pocket' and 'Thank U' followed as hits. She appeared as "God" in the Kevin Smith films 'Dogma' and 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.' Alanis Morissette is now touring to celebrate her 2012 album 'Havoc and Bright Lights.'
