ALAN ZWEIBEL In conversation with Ed Crasnick
An original Saturday Night Live writer, Alan Zweibel has won multiple Emmy, Writers Guild of America, and TV Critics awards for his work in television which also includes It's Garry Shandling's Show (which he co-created and executive produced), Monk, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. His plays have successfully graced the New York stages and his 2006 novel The Other Shulman was awarded the Thurber Prize for American Humor.
A frequent guest on talk shows such as Late Night with David Letterman, Alan is currently finishing his next Broadway venture to be titled Sunday Nights at 8:00, is doing a television pilot with Bob Newhart, and his newest book - a collection of his short stories and essays titled Clothing Optional - was just published.
