Merrill has had chart hits with "Touch Too Much", "My Last Night With You", and "I Love Rock N Roll" in the UK and Europe with his band The Arrows. He also had hits with his Tokyo based band Vodka Collins "Sands Of Time" "Pink Soup" and "Automatic Pilot."
Alan Merrill is the singer of the first recorded and released version of "I Love Rock N Roll," a song he also wrote. He has written songs recorded by Joan Jett, Rick Derringer, Lou Rawls, Freddie Scott, Chuck Jackson, Felix Cavaliere, Britney Spears, Troy Turner and more.
