Alameda Shoreline Hike March 27, 2010

We will explore this bay marsh and sandy beach from the Elsie Romer Beach to the East Bay Regional Park Crab Cove. Emphasis will be on shorebirds of several species. Several birds may begin to show signs of their alternate, breeding feathering. Rails will be watched for, especially if incoming tides are on schedule. Caspian and Forster's Terns should be arriving for summer breeding. Meet on site, directions will be sent.
