Al Mas Alla (Mexico, 2008) November 1, 2010

The quasi-fictional documentary 'Al Mas Alla' is based around an allegory about three Mexican fisherman who find drugs washed up on the shore, then sell them to the corrupt police. Real interviews with tour guides, merchants and others are interspersed with narrative scenes about a fictional documentarian. Director Lourdes Portillo will be on hand to answer questions after the screening.
