Akbank Jazz Festival October 3, 2006

Organized by Pozitif, the 10 day festival featured a roster of unique and well-loved international and domestic acts, providing jazz fans with a packed schedule consisting of concerts, workshops and seminars in different venues ; C.R.R.( Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall), ST Irine, Babylon, Yeni Melek Performance Center and Akbank Culture& Arts Center. It was set apart by its constant attempts to look into the jazz tradition , its connections with contemporary jazz, avant-garde, latin, electro-jazz along with DJ performers .
