The Science Center of Carbondale will present a program appropriate for grades pre-K through 8. The show will discuss Montgolfier’s balloon experiments, the Bernoulli effect and its application to flight, vortex phenomenon and hovercraft--all with audience participation. Sponsored by John A. Logan College’s Family Literacy Program and made possible by a grant awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using state funds designated for adult literacy.
