The AIGA biennial Design Conference is the largest design conference in the world, bringing together 2,500 designers from all disciplines of design. AIGA, as the oldest and largest design association in the United States, provides thought-provoking programming that stimulates thinking about new boundaries of design for professionals and the value of design to society and business.
The conference spans two and a half days, with main stage presentations as well as smaller sessions involving nearly 100 presenters. The conference content celebrates design excellence and creativity, while reinforcing the sense of community among creative professionals. Our host presenter throughout the conference is John Hockenberry (author and correspondent), who has hosted the AIGA Design Conference for nearly a decade. A few of the main-stage speakers who are confirmed include: Malcolm Gladwell, Ellen Lupton, Paula Scher, DJ Spooky, Ze Frank, Stefan Sagmeister, Errol Morris and Massimo and Lella Vignelli.
Limited offer! For the first time, the AIGA Design Conference will feature "The Living Room" as a component of the Design Fair. The Living Room offers conference participants a dynamic and multi-dimensional space to relax and meet; watch all main-stage programming on a multi-screen simulcast; browse special installations and exhibitions; view student portfolios and media demonstrations; and check email and websites in a special Living Room E-lounge. The Living Room registration option is provided for the most cost-conscious attendees (space is limited and preference will be given to student members).
