Agraryo Tradefair 2009 June 2, 2009

Now on its 8th year, the Agraryo Trade Fair ( ATF), scheduled on June 3-7, 2009 at the Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, takes pride in gathering the best enterprises and products of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and Agrarian Reform Areas have to offer. Organized by the DAR, the ATF will feature the fruits of one of the relevant structured social justice program in the country, the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, (CARP).

The events theme, “Enterprising Agrarian Reform Communities: Creating Jobs, Empowering Farmers, and Ensuring Food Security”, highlights the significant and innovative achievements of the DAR, its partner agencies and civil societies stakeholders in assisting the ARBs to respond to the present economic challenges. By engaging in entrepreneurial endeavors, the ARBs are able to secure jobs, increase incomes, and ensure economic and food security at the household and community levels.
