Yogoman Burning Band
Yogoman Burning Band is an 8 member group blasting out of Bellingham, WA with an upbeat rock steady, soul, reggae/dancehall sound. The band has been cultivating their unity-building sound around Bellingham and the northwest region for the past year and is excited to be stepping out this summer with the release of their debut CD and a westcoast tour in early August. Yogoman Burning Band is thrilled to help start the Bay Area's weekend at Afternoon Delight and will be bringing the party early on Friday, August 17th. See you there!
George Cochrane
The White Pinecone is the first solo record release from George Cochrane also known as Origami. Indie pop written from an underground dance music point of view that is acoustic, electronic, and disarmingly electric. Booties per-cu-late, brains ponder, and both are immensely satisfied. "The standout, 'My World,' captures an electronic, indie-rock sound that brings to mind New Order. Cochrane's soothing voice fits mellower numbers like 'The Key Is In the Lock,' and he gives Broken Social Scene a run for their money on the aching and perfectly paced 'Fervent Fascinations,' which echoes a fragility that Cochrane can barely contain." -- Performer Magazine
