Join us for an all-new San Francisco Networking Meeting at Pasta Pomodoro on Union Street in Cow Hollow. (NOTE: the header in the Yahoo listing gives the wrong address: it is 1875 Union Street.)
We are stealing the oh-so-successful format used by Silicon Valley geniuses who have figured out how to do business networking that works!
The formula:
1. Fabulous Speakers – ours speakers will be Alison Covarrubias and Claire Fontana, the high-energy founders of Hatch Network, the place for entrepreneurial education. They will talk to us about how “The Pendulum Always Swings Up.” We know it does, but how do we influence it to build customer confidence and loyalty? Come find out.
2. MasterMind/Brainstorming – anyone who has a business issue they’re looking to solve can put their hat in the ring. We’ll select three lucky businesses who will benefit from the group’s collective wisdom as we brainstorm ideas and find viable solutions. Free, targeted advice. How could you say no?
3. Speed networking – this is our favorite part! We’ll break into small groups where everyone will have one minute to say a bit about themselves and what they need, personally or professionally. Everyone in attendance listens actively and if we have an idea, a resource, a way we can help, we jot it on our card and give it to that person. You can’t give out a card unless it includes some way you can help. Now, isn’t that what it’s all about?
4. Fuel – we’ll have loads of food to keep us going on a Monday night. And drinks (wine, beer and non-potables) will be available for purchase.
If you’ve got a current marketing piece that needs some help, bring it with you. Alison and Claire have graciously offered to stay late and facilitate peer review and editing.
The meeting and food are free – so why not join us? We’re all discombobulated by the current economy. Let’s band together to help each other and help ourselves.

We are officially hosting this event through Biznik, a fantastic business networking organization. So please use the link above to register. And consider becoming a member (it's free). The articles alone are worth membership.

If you’re coming by car, there are a couple of garages on Union (Laguna at Wells Fargo and a second one across from Betelnut). If you want free street parking, plan about 20 extra minutes to find a spot. Or send us a very large money order and we’ll lay down in a spot until you get there.
