AFRO-FEST 2007 w/Carlos Jones,Mifune, Boston Afrobeat Society March 31, 2007

AFRO-FEST 2007! The rich legacy left behind by Fela Anikulapo Kuti, founder of Afro-Beat, Black President, will be celebrated once again in the deeply funky city of Cleveland. Afro-Fest made history last year when it became the first event of it's kind in the greater Cleveland area. This year will be even hotter as acts from around the region and country come together to share in the deep rhythm of afrobeat, reggae and traditional African musical vibrations. The second installment of this very unique and soulful event will go down on March 31st 2007 at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Hts Ohio. Confirmed so far is Carlos Jones and the PLUS band,Mifune, The Boston Afrobeat Society and master drum collective Ibailu. More acts TBA
