The African Rainforest Conservancy will host Artists for Africa, a benefit event celebrating the discovery of a new species of frog in Tanzania's rainforest to be named in honor of Norway. This event will feature a live art auction by CK Swett, a special African musical dance performance, along with a V.I.P. dinner, and after-party to follow. The gala benefits the African Rainforest Conservancy's efforts to preserve and restore African rainforests -- among the oldest and most biodiverse in the world. The event is honoring The Country of Norway- New Species Award & Thomas J. McGarth with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Tickets range from $125 to $500, and may be purchased by visiting artistsforafrica.eventbrite.com
