An 8-week series with Barbara Gail. African drumming for everyone: those with a little experience, the raw beginner, and the "rhythmically challenged"! Learn to play the most popular hand-drum, the West African djembe, while discovering how to find your place in the beat, make the drum sing, and play rhythms with others in a harmonious way. Not necessary to own your own drum. Welcome all adults, motivated teens, and youth ages 10 and up with permission.
