We are the UK's first African cookery school offering group and private courses along with workshops specialising in African food.

Launched in September 2009, so far we have held:
West African Vegetarian Cookery - 12th September 2009
Traditional Nigerian Cookery - 17th October 2009
Traditional Nigerian cookery - 22nd May 2010

Dishes taught have included:
Jollof rice
Cassava leaf with steamed rice
Pepper soup
Egusi soup and Pounded Yam
Akara

Our new range of courses for 2010 include:
Taste of Ghana
African seafood cookery
Taste of Morocco
African vegetarian: East Africa

All our courses include: ingredients to be use, food cooked on the day and Akhaya recipes cards.

There is also be the opportunity to buy ingredients to recreate your dishes at home.
