African American Quilt Exhibition in Tokyo January 9, 2006

For the month of January Angela Jeffs presents her collection of African American quilts At the RBR Center for the arts. We will be organizing lectures and workshops throughout January delving in African American history, the Civil Rights movement, African American song. This will be RBR's way of leading up to Black History Month, celebrated in February. Art themes throughout our classes will feature African folklore and culture.
