African American Interest Group November 3, 2009

The November 3, 2009 African American Interest meeting will discuss Reconstruction after the Civil War, how it affected the newly freed slaves and research strategies and tips. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, at the Iowa Genealogical Society Library, 628 East Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309-1924.
