The renovated Africa Gallery at the Harvard Museum of Natural History features impressive specimens of African wildlife, collected over a century ago, of elephant, rhino, hippos, lions, leopard, ostrich, gorillas, hyena, pangolins, and many more, including a section of rare animals from the island of Madagascar. This historic gallery has been refurbished and reinterpreted, with new energy-efficient lighting, colorful graphic displays, and interactive multimedia on endangered African wildlife.
