Advocacy and Engagement 101 June 10, 2010

Global Washington will welcome John Ruthrauff and Vanessa Dick from InterAction for an advocacy training workshop designed for staff and volunteers with little to no experience in advocacy and public engagement work. It will include a case study of an InterAction advocacy campaign and the elements needed to design your own strategy. This is a very participatory workshop. Advocates will self select into small teams to design an advocacy strategy for one of the team members’ organizations. Participants need to commit to attend the full day and to read materials prior to the workshop.

Cost: $75 for Global Washington members; $125 for non-members
