Monthly meeting of the Community Advisory Group (CAG) of the San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant (Plant) Master Plan. CAG meetings are open to the public, and of specific interest to residents of the Plant service area – San José, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Cupertino, Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and Saratoga. Opportunity for public comments is included in the agenda.
The Community Advisory Group (CAG) consists of 17 appointed community members who are charged with providing an informed, ongoing community perspective on the three-year Plant Master Plan development. CAG meetings are a conduit for community input during the planning process. All feedback will be captured and reported to the Plant Master Plan Steering Committee.
The cost of rebuilding the Plant is estimated at a minimum $1.5 billion, making it one of the region’s largest public investments. How to best rebuild the Plant and best use its property is the focus of the Plant Master Plan.
