Adventures in Travel Expo Comes to Chicago January 26 and 27, 2008
WHAT: The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center will come alive with exciting adventure options and attractions from across the country and around the globe as the Adventures in Travel Expo – America’s largest active and adventure travel shows – takes center stage the weekend of January 26 and 27, 2008.
Whether visitors seek travel to exotic lands such as Thailand, Malaysia, Australia or India, or US-based adventures like cruising in Alaska, whale watching in Maine, mountain biking in New Mexico or backpacking the Smoky Mountains of Kentucky – the Adventures in Travel Expo has an adventure for everyone.
The show offers on-site attractions like a huge scuba pool where visitors can learn to dive, kayak demonstrations, learn to catch a wave on the surf simulator, cultural performances, seminars by award-winning National Geographic ADVENTURE writers and photographers, and much more.
WHEN: Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27, 2008
Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont
Tickets are $15 for adults; Children 16 years of age and under may attend for free, when accompanied by an adult.
