In this interactive hands-on program we share rocks and minerals and discuss the differences, the three types of rocks, how they are formed, and talk about the rock cycle. A wide assortment of specimens will be for a hands on experience and use of lighted jewelers loupes to study the specimens. Each child will "dig' for and identify rocks to take home! Special guest: Angie Raskin from Life Cycle Celebrations
Takes place rain or shine! Make a day out of it and bring a picnic lunch.
