Sat., March 28, 11 am – 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm – 4 pm. Discover new artistic skills in these short workshops that will give you a taste of upcoming adult workshops offered this spring at Grounds For Sculpture.

Stone Carving Workshop
11 am – 12:30 pm. Take a short course in carving with a master stone carver and create a small stone sculpture or tile. Tools and materials will be provided. Students should bring leather gloves, eye protection, and an apron. Instructor: Steve Flom. In partnership with Digital Stone Project. $40 Members, $45 non-Members.

Photography
11 am – 12:30 pm. Bring your own landscape or nature photographs to learn more about creating a dynamic composition when taking your photos. Then try your new skills in our breathtaking Sculpture Park. An SLR or digital camera is required. Instructor: Sally Davidson. $20 Members, $25 non-Members.

Garden Art
2:30pm – 4pm. Create a work of art for your garden with a history that can be traced back to the 13th century! Garden Globes are believed to bring happiness, prosperity and good luck to their owner. Enhance the aesthetics of your landscaping with this ancient ornament. Instructor: Margareta Warlick. $40 Members, $45 non-Members.

Plaster Casting
2:30 pm – 4 pm. Learn the skills of sculpting with plaster bandage, and explore techniques to create a small vessel. Instructor: Clifford Ward. $40 Members, $45 non-Members.
