The American Red Cross Adult, Child, Infant CPR with AED and First Aid class teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. The courses in the program also teach the skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR/AED for Adult, Infant and Child - which are valid for two years. Students must attend both nights. The classes take place at the Kern Chapter of the American Red Cross, which is located at 5035 Gilmore Ave. For more information and to register please call 1-800-Red-Cross or visit www.kernredcross.org.
