Adreon Henry's One-Line Drawings October 18, 2008

Super! Alright! announces the opening of their new creative space with a collection of Adreon Henry's One-Line Drawings, on view October 18th - November 8th, with an opening celebration Saturday, October 18th from 7-11 pm.

Super! Alright! is a creative boutique that is affiliated with writers, designers, directors, musicians, artist and producers. Much of the work produced at Super! Alright! is nationally recognized and noted for its creative edge. "We feel like we have an ideal space for art exhibitions and installations, and with Austin having such a strong talent pool, we want to give both national and local artist the chance to show their work and share their ideas," stated Jacob Villanueva, interactive director of Super! Alright!.

The premiere show at this new east side art space will be a collection of new paintings, based on one-line drawings, by local artist Adreon Henry. "I have always wanted to do a show based on one-line drawings -- I have many sketch books filled with this particular style of drawing and feel that they work best when shown as a full body of work," mentioned Henry.
"After seeing many of the pieces together I realize that they work together to create an overview of the current political, social and cultural mind-state of the modern world, seen from a parallel universe of some sort," exclaimed Super! Alright! co-founder Erik Horn.

Adreon Henry's One-Line Drawings will be on view from October 18th through November 8th with an opening celebration on Saturday, October 18th from 7 to 11 pm. Super!
