The Admirals and Hunger Task Force of Wisconsin will team up to collect food for the hungry at the game. Any fan who brings a non-perishable food item will receive a voucher for a half-priced ticket in the Stern and Bow section to any game through the end of January and also a new Master Lock, while supplies last. There is a limit of one coupon/lock per person and all of the food collected will then be given to the Hunger Task Force.
The game is also the team’s first SportClips Remember Whensday of the season, where at each Wednesday game throughout the year the Admirals will bring in a celebrity from yesteryear to meet fans and sign autographs. This Wednesday’s guest is Mark Metcalf, who became famous for his role as the sadistic ROTC leader Doug Neidermeyer in the classic comedy Animal House. Metcalf also had roles in Hill Street Blues and Buffy and Vampire Slayer and appeared in a pair of episodes of Seinfeld as “The Maestro.”
