ADHD & Learning Disabilities: Parent Education Group—For Parents of Children with ADHD
When undiagnosed and untreated, ADHD can result in academic under-achievement, family conflict, and mood and behavioral problems. With appropriate evaluation and a collaborative treatment plan, children with ADHD can thrive.
Our group offers parents the chance to share ideas and receive resources on topics such as their child’s ADHD/LD diagnosis, the emotional impact of learning problems, and community supports for parents and children. Parents receive new tools, practical information, and engage in discussions. This event is a series of workshops spread over three events, all of which take place from 7:00-8:15p.m.
Attendance on all three dates is recommended.
Series of Dates:
April 15, 2013
April 23, 2013
May 1, 2013
